The image below shows the classic passport control on the way in, nearby the Danish sausage stand and Lagkagehuset on the outside and with the Eventyr lounge down the right inside. The stairs I mentioned earlier are just inside on the left. The E and F gates are not listed however on the sign, and that may well be due to the other passport entrance on the ground floor much closer to these newer gates. So yes as I see it, you can walk freely between these areas without any re-check.
