I’d like to switch my SQ J HND-LAX for JAL F HND-LAX-SFO but no availability LAX-SFO on AS.


Im willing to pay for it, but worried about a delay in the JAL flight.

I have a choice of 2 hours or 3.5 hours, I think two hours might be too risky even though I have global entry. Am I right?

If I miss the flight (say the later one), am I SOL and have to pay last minute fare? Is there a way of combining a revenue ticket and an award ticket so I’m protected and can check luggage through?

(I assume I can’t through check the luggage on separate tickets, let me know if that’s wrong).
