Shorten reservation - but on the front end - can keep same room type?
My wife has a suite booked at a Fairfield in Pusan - So KR. Original plan was for us to get in on a Tuesday, but our plan change, and now we will check in a day later on the Wednesday. When we tried updating the res on the app, it does not give the suite option anymore so it seems like we have to start from scratch.
I did the other way around often, where I shorten the reservation but on the back end. Usually when I checked in, I just mentioned at the hotel that we will leave a day early and never had an issue. Never done this on the front end though.
Is this a case where we should call Titanium support line or the property directly? Not too worry about rate change.
