Richiemc is correct that on the 787-8, only 3A,3K, 7A and 7K allow the ability to have unfettered access whilst exiting and returning to those seats. On an overnight flight from my home airport I do pay to book those seats for more rest outbound. On a day flight coming home I will wait until 7 days out to book that day set of flights.
