Adding a Data Point: When I booked through Capital One Travel to utilize a credit, the flight was automatically added to my Trips with the "Online Changes Cannot Be Made" popup showing if I clicked change or cancel. I then called to request to be added to the Upgrade Waitlist since it didn't do that part automatically. It took a few days after they said they did it for the "Waitlisted for First Class" message to show up, but I guess in doing so they took over the ticket because I was then able to change or cancel the flight and have the amount be deposited into my wallet like any other ticket I booked directly
