Bluetooth-capable IFE is a new thing; I reckon with the prevalence of bluetooth headsets nowadays, bluetooth connectivity is coming to IFE in the next 1-2 decades. I doubt any airline will replace their IFE for the sole purpose of adding bluetooth connectivity. 🤔 Unless the hardware is already available and it just requires a software upgrade... unlikely, but possible.

I can foresee frustration around connectivity issues and FAs having to deal with annoyed pax who can't get bluetooth devices to pair...
