Well, we stayed here a few months ago and our only issue was with poor shower drainage, otherwise the stay was great. Didn't have any issues with evil spirits or anything supernatural. If you're not superstitious and want to stay at a Hyatt, this place is fine. Marriott has a wider variety of options and locations. I'm Taiwanese-American and my family in Taiwan were familiar with the GH but had no knowledge or issues with it being haunted FWIW.
