Exactly my experience also. Recent F flight from BKK i felt the same and as the flight in every class was completely sold out i felt that some passengers were from Y also. Bare feeted backpacker gentleman sat next to me and seemed totally clueless about flying in general.

I have had better and polished service in regular J. No Krug and the meals were business class food excluding caviar. Not worth the money. I will fly Qsuite from here onwards over F. BKK lounge was really good and service superb although the waitress poured champagne to my travel companions purse.
