Woo-hoo! So I put in my 3rd call to Chase Personal Recon this morning at 9:30am. As soon as the rep picked up, I immediately asked to be transferred to a manager because there seems to be an error which resulted in my application denial. She said she needed more information. I went on to explain that I'm familiar with the 5/24 rule, but the number of credit cards I've opened in the past 24 months has been inaccurately counted. She asked to me wait on the line while she sent a code to my phone for verification.
After I gave her the code, she said, "Well, it actually says that your application has been approved as of yesterday." Yes! I went to my chase app and there it was with a $10k CL. Awesome. There's your data point! Thanks guys!
