Discounts are based on spending. $10-150K/year gets you Tier 1 and a 3% discount. $150-300K is Tier 2 and 5%. Over that is Tier 3 and 6%. One of the most useful benefits (for Tier 1) is 10 eUp credits you can distribute to any Aeroplan member. It can help top up an account when you're left with odd amounts at the end of the year and unlike other eUps, they expire a year after they're deposited, not just in January. You also get a MLL Canada membership you can give away. So it's worth registering if you qualify, but I find the website too cumbersome to use regularly.
