I had this issues a while back, an OTA has better rate everywhere except from the IP address of IHG/Marriott. I asked a few FTers based in different continent to test it and bingo = a no go for BRG.

If you need a vpn to find a rate then it's not publicly available.

Try to file the claim again and see if you get the same response.
