To the Forum ! Very new to this group but would like to ask:

We'll be arriving in late September at Terminal 3 at FCO on an American Airlines flight from Phil arriving at 09:00 am.

We have a flight one way on a separate ticket to Sicily on Alitalia leaving from Terminal 1 at 13:15 pm.

This gives us 4 hr and 15 min connection time. I know we'll have to get our bags and go through passport control / immigration....then make our way next door to Terminal 1 to check in and recheck our bags at Alitalia. then go through security ?

Is this enough time and can you lay out the steps we'll need to do.? We have the type of ticket on Alitalia that allows changes .....and there are flights on that leg every 1 45 min or so that we could change to.

Could you let me know your thoughts please ?
