To the wise folks on this thread, I need your help. I have been trying to book AS flights using my Krisflyer miles with no success. The flight is in June, the route is between SJC <-> HNL, and the Alaska Airlines website shows plenty of available seats on the flights. I think I called the Singapore membership about half a dozen times, and they tell me all different answers, ranging from you cannot book Alaska Airlines using Krisflyer miles, you should go to the website to book it, the flight doesn't come up on their screen, and there are no seats.

What are the best ways to quickly get at the facts of the situation? If there are no seats set aside for Singapore members, I can understand and give up but no one is able to tell me one way or another, and each phone call is only increasing confusion. The most common reply I hear is that if it's not showing up on the website, it doesn't show up for us.

Is trying to redeem miles 2 1/2 months out just not possible? Thanks much for your help!
