Bali has always been a favourite destination for a certain segment of the Australian population, and after two years of Covid denial, they—or rather, I suppose I really should use the first person pronoun here—are back in force, so much so that the authorities have just introduced a raft of new rules to deal with the loutish behaviour of ‘bogan’ Aussies. I would second Raymoland’s suggestion of the Maldives, or even the Whitsundays, for a beach honeymoon, if you’re looking for something a bit further afield.
