JFK - CDG last night in Y. Proactively greeted by the purser right after take off and offered a glass of champagne and snacks from J. Middle seat kept empty next to me on an almost full flight. Purser continued to check in and when he saw me stand up came over to suggest I use the bathrooms dedicated for the Premium Economy cabin.

Very pleasant service throughout and a nice example of how Platinum members can be made to feel appreciated. It almost made up for the absolutely awful food they continue to serve in Y. Such a pity since it used to be at least acceptable.
