Not in any particular order but:
please can we have your attention for the following safety briefing. Many of you are frequent fliers but the procedures on board this aircraft may not be the same as others you have flown.
There are x number of Emergency exits and they are being pointed out to you now. Remember the nearest emergency exit may be behind you.
In an emergency floor lighting will guide you to the nearest exit
only use the emergency exit if it is safe to do so.
Your life jacket is located under your seat/ in x position in Club World / first class
Place the jacket over your head and tie the ribbons around your waist at the side in a double knot
Pull the red tag to inflate the jacket.
You must not inflate the jacket until you have left the aircraft
There is a light and a whistle here for use for attracting attention. And a tube here to blow here to inflate the jacket.
Tray tables must be stowed and armrests down and seats must be in the upright or landing position for Take off and landing
Hand baggage must be stowed safely beneath the seat in front of you or in an overhead locker if in the front row / bulkhead seat and must not obstruct the aisles at any time.
There is a safety card in the seat pocket that displays the location of emergency exits on this aircraft and what you need to do in an emergency
in the event of an emergency landing you must adopt the brace position as indicated in the safety card. Please take time to read it and familiarise yourself with the safety procedures on board this aircraft
smoking is not permitted at any time on board and there are smoke detectors in the wash rooms.
In the unlikely event of a depressurisation oxygen masks will deploy from overhead panels as indicated. In CW you may need to reach through the dividing screen . Place the mask over your nose and mouth and breath normally. Put on your own mask before helping others. The bag does not inflate.
in an evacuation do not take anything with you. Head for the nearest usable emergency exit. If you need to use the emergency slide take off high heels to avoid tearing it.
emergency exits are operated by pulling the red handle. Some doors need to be thrown through the window..if you are seated in an emergency row please ensure you are able to follow the instructions and crew will talk to you separately to explain what to do. Evacuation slide will automatically inflate.
in a landing on water the evacuation slides are also emergency rafts.
