Wow. Perhaps things have changed recently? My experience dates back to 2012 when I first received the card. I used my U.S. address but still had my BAEC set to use my UK address. At that time the Avios still accrued on the Chase card - including the sign up bonus - but we’re not transferred to my BA account until I changed my BAEC address to the U.S.
