They do weddings and Koreans seem to like doing staycations from Sunday to Monday. Perhaps it's cheaper too? Park Hyatt Busan is pretty much the same crowdedness and lineups for everything.
:-) We are part of those staycationers. The JW Gangnam seems to be *really* quiet compared to this place, even during check-in timeframes. If I had to guess, it's because the majority of the time, people are either walking around the neighborhood or (more likely) inside the mall.
