I recently returned to a Hampton that had an issue with homeless people coming in to use restrooms, get coffee & use the common area. I stopped going there but went back when I was priced out of a nearby hotel. Thankfully, things had cleaned up in the year since I last visited. The front desk was entirely new, and some pesky issues -- like noisy ac units -- had been replaced. No homeless people milling about either. It's now my go-to stay again.

If you see something off-putting, leave a trip advisor review. If management gives a crap, eventually, they will do something. If they don't give a crap, then other customers will learn about it.

My 2 cents.
