Hi all,
Apologies if this has been covered before, I've tried a number of searches but can't decide on the right keywords for my query...
My partner and I are emigrating at the end of summer - we have booked our flights ex-LHR with a companion voucher. We will - at somepoint - want to return to the UK. We have banked a few vouchers and won't be keeping our BAPP cards.
The current voucher has only been used for a single - ideally we'd like to use the other 'half' of the voucher for a return, but we're not sure when this might be - I understand that we will need to book the return before the outbound leg is flown, but subject to the voucher expiry and the 355 day rule - is there a limit to how far apart the return can be?
I am debating booking us a dummy return which we could date change later on (so the voucher doesn't die once the outbound leg has been flown) - but would apprecaite any insight.
Cheers,
