Oh, I'm sure it has, however freezing tech hasn't solved the inherent issue of dehydration. Compared to fresh <insert your food here> foods, it will usually be found to be lacking. There are only a few foods I find that improve with freezing (like durian pods) and even those foods that do handle freezing well, can't be frozen for too long.
I wonder if your freezer is cold enough. There are many foods that freeze really well without loss of quality.
