I made a reservation some months ago at the JW for 23 March using points (40k + expiring cert for 2 nights) and have been watching the web site and this thread everyday since. This morning I found that our JW reservation had been cancelled but points not returned. Then I checked my email and have a message saying the hotel is not quite ready but they will put us at the Hotel Palacio Del Retiro or the EDITION for the same number of points.

So, my question is The Edition or Palacio Del Retiro? This is our first time to Madrid and we are celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary.
