Never underestimate the Japanese desire to comply and go with the flow. - the desire to not be seen as different here is fascinating and it starts at an early age….
We all know that saying “The tallest blade of grass is the first to be cut?” Well - that to me is the culture here…
Heading to NYC today will be interesting to see how many are masked at HND…
ETA: At HND now -- all employees wearing masks, virtually no foreigners wearing masks -- and I would guess about 80% of Japanese still masked....
