The only problem I have is getting to Florida for our once or twice a year Orlando holiday. getting four tickets is well nigh impossible with Air Canada, and I have done much better with US Air (prior to the *A entry), where I used to be Gold Preferred.
I've actually had very good luck (and excellent service) on AeroPlan booking not only last minute (about 1-2 weeks before) family (6 of us now
) flights to MCO, but also complicated intl trips for my parents the past couple of years.
IMHO this is the only remaining SE benefit worth renewing top-tier status for. I'll be watching the 2005 program benefits and related service levels very closely the next few months to see whether chasing AA EXP is more worthwhile that AC SE for 2005...
