The only annoying thing is she wanted to see the 45,000 miles so I transferred in but it didn't go instantly, so I had to transfer in to my dad's because I knew that was instant and she saw that and said ok good to go. But then after she hung up I saw it wasn't reticketed so called back and was just told it's in the queue.
Yes, PS to D1 on TPAC routes is 45K miles, not 40K (which is TATL).
I would push to get it reticketed, OR ask for their name and locator (in a nonthreatening way) and make sure you save the date that you had that call. If the system boots you from it due to change in flight number, flight time, etc, and you lose the upgrade, just call back in, escalate to a supervisor, give them the agent's name and locator and have them listen to the recordings in which they told you you didn't need to be reticketed.
Also, not yelling, but just FYI - there isn't a "Gold Desk" - they can see your status when you call in with the number linked to your phone. So you just got a lucky agent!
