It was amazing to see all of the different areas and landscapes of the United States I have not seen at all (i.e. Georgia-most of New Mexico) or have not seen in a while making an interesting and enjoyable flight even more interesting and enjoyable. I have flown over this region at night from JFK-LAS many times and parts of this region once from JFK-SFO in 2008, but do not remember it too well as I was not into TRs the way I am now. You're right about there being not as much to see at night over this region since there are a lot of undeveloped or underdeveloped portions of it due to a lot of natural areas.
