Would it be easier if we just call it United First/Business cabins/seats on widebodies (I know 764 are still been converted)? If we keep referig it to Polaris seats, then the confusion will continue (including Polaris Lounge access when sit in Polaris seats).
Before the current widebodies had the "Polaris seats", I don't remember people were confuses about they types of business class seats they are getting on widebodies versus the single aisle planes. There was never a question (or confusion) about flying PMCO BusinessFirst or PMUA IPTF vs Domestic FIrst/Businss (and acess to lounges when sitting in BusinessFirst/IPTF installed planes).

UA likes the confusion for a) branding purposes and b) in hopes that folks buy/pay higher for "Polaris" domestically since they're wanting "Polaris" Lounge access, and getting neither PL nor UC.
And UA's ok with that along the lines of "a sucker's born every minute" and "here comes another
mark customer".
