Same thing with a gold challenge
I did the same thing with a gold challenge in May 2004. I emailed and said I would like to qualify based on my previous flights. The agent responded that I did in fact qualify, and when I logged in to my account it was listed as gold. Next stop, Platinum Challenge. Perhaps in advance this time...
