I recently flew SVQ > MAD > LHR > GLA as HBO.
SVQ > MAD and MAD > LHR were on Iberia while obviously LHR > GLA was BA. All the flights were in the same day. It was the return journey of a trip booked on BA.com so all one booking.
Check in for the IB legs had to be done on the Iberia website. No problem. For some reason I just couldn’t check in for the final leg to GLA. I’m silver so was able to select seats in advance no bother. However despite trying the BA website and app multiple times, I just kept getting an error message.
I asked at the desk at the entrance to the Iberia lounge in MAD T4S if there was any way they could get me checked in and a boarding pass issued. The very helpful Iberia colleague explained a lot of times their system doesn’t allow it but she’d give it a try.
Less than a couple of minutes of tapping at a keyboard later and she had me checked in and handed over my boarding pass. A refresh of the app confirmed all was sorted.
