I have to say Sigwx (and also others) your knowledge and input is extremely insightful and makes an otherwise blanket request for EU261 which BA may initially otherwise deny more watertight as all the facts can be included. This has always been my experience of 261.... once presented with clear specific facts (despite not actually bring required), it just makes the process easier for the claimant and for the airline to just approve without it going to CEDR.
