I think it's only a matter of time as more devices become e-sim ready that all companies will offer it. Why wait for a physical SIM card when you can scan a QR code and go? Great for travellers. Saves the environment by not manufacturing and posting out a piece of plastic that eventually ends up as landfill - if not recycled.
It would be good if they'd catch on – SIMs can't be recycled as there is metal fused to the plastic.
