I just became KLM FB Platinum

I understand I need to be 10 years platinum to become PFL.

just a theoretical question:
300 x 9 years = 2700 XP

If I would fly worth 2700 XP this year.
would that guarantee me or PFL?
(taking aside if rules may change etc)

or would I need to make 300 XP and then wait a year and then only make 300XP again?

in other words if I make a lot of points in a year do I take those XP points along to next year(s)?
