Two or three days for ticketing is relatively fast, if it took a week - for a trip in May - then that wouldn't surprise me. Ticketing is apparently not overloaded at the moment but it is done by date of travel, and there will be people travelling today who will be prioritised. There is a special queue for certain tickets, which indeed are supposed to be done more quickly, and I can imagine this should be the case for you, but personally I'd leave it a few more days. If you were travelling in the next 48 hours I'd advise a faster reaction, but usually you don't need to micro-manage this sort of thing.
