Were there not originally one or two lounges built at the southern end of the F-pier? I didn't use ARN heavily until the pandemic, so only recall casual mention of them here. Were they on level 3 (Schengen) or level 4 (non-Schengen)? The level 4 arrivals corridor from non-Schengen gates F59, F61, F63, F65, F67 and F69 (i.e. on the "left" hand side of the pier) cuts off the southern end of T5F from the level 4 departures area. So I am assuming the lounges were on level 3, behind where the wine bar is?
It's correct that there were two lounges there, Menzies on level 3 and Aviator on level 4. They closed at the end of 2019, just before the Covid-related downturn in flying, due to building work for the planned pier G (which I think was then put on hold?).
