I've stayed here a few times. It's OK but wouldn't go out of my way unless it's very cheap (Sunday nights can be picked up for ~£66). Better to stay in the city centre
Firstly there is currently no breakfast as the restaurant operator shut down a while ago - still no replacement in sight as far as I can tell. When I've emailed them asking what the alternative arrangements are, there's been silence....
Parking is £15 but as a Globalists it's free. You're supposed to email them to reserve a space but I've never done that. Bizarrely there is no signage to the parking on the building, and the website contains no directions -something I pointed to the GM a while ago and still hasn't addressed. You'll likely be coming down Eddington Ave from Huntingdon Road towards the estate. After 200m or so the road splits to the left (Eddington Ave which takes you to the front of the hotel) and to the right (Turing Road). Take the right onto Turing road and immediately on the left you'll see an area around the back of the hotel - head down there. Go to the bottom and you access the underground carpark via a barrier. Just buzz to be let in. Once inside head to the very end as that's the section reserved for the hotel.
Amenities in the room are fine including coffee bags and waters in the fridge (which can get very cold). On a few occasions the aircon hasn't worked for me, and I've had to request an electric heater to be put in the room when it's cold.
Staff are generally friendly but some of them aren't particularly well trained. It's often difficult to tell who's working there and who's a student
