On this note, does anyone know what is the exact deal with ID90 / ID75 and who can get them?

It seems that anyone who "knows" anyone in Qantas past and present seem to be able to get these fares.

A friend of mine just got an ID90 in J. She is the daughter in law of an ex-Qantas staff member.

I think ID90/75 are fine for Y BUT since QF seem to be so tight on awards for J and F, you would think that they would not allow ID90/75 in J and F. Also since I cant standby for Z class if I have a RTW award Z ticket but with only U confirmed, why should an ID90 be able to stand by for F and not me, since they are suppose to be rated lower in the pecking order?
