Yes, for elite benefit purposes it doesn't matter if you are listed as the 1st or 2nd passenger on the record. FYI in case it's relevant that in order to be eligible for upgrades your companion's SkyMiles number must be entered as well (she can be a non-status general member, as long as the number is present)
