hope I'm right in this thread with my question.

I have a international flight booked with a depature at midnight from HND. I still need book a flight to HND to for the connection on a different ticket. I'm trying not to spend to much time at HND but plenty enough to have a secure connection and I will be travelling with checked bags.

So one option would be a planned arrival at 6:35 p.m. and the other would be 5:45 p.m. - any guess on what might be the better option? I'm a little bit concerned regarding the immigration time or do both option have plenty of time to have a relaxed transfer?
