AF/KL/DL were in talks last year to make a deal with AZ, but dropped out and AZ is not a part of AF/KL/DL/VS transatlantic partnership. Basically, there is nothing to keep AZ in Skyteam long term. It would be pretty much unheard of for them to remain in Skyteam given that LH is seeking "the commercial and operational integration of ITA into the Lufthansa Airline Group, as well as resulting synergies". Even if they don't actually join Star, they almost certainly would not remain Skyteam members given LH relationship.
