Are you sure about the transfer desk not issuing AY BP's all day? The transfer desk had no problem issuing my MH BP (Sold by AY 105 ticket) ~6 hours before scheduled departure.
Edit. I did never see any "Finnair" desk, however I assume it is the very same desk providing service to multiple carriers.
