Thanks very much wakesetter93. IG is fun and pretty immediate. As you know, the TRs are much more time consuming but I in the long run easier to look back and reminisce.

An example, just recently I had some VAT tax refunds to submit and during La Première check in the generous agent/concierge offered to escort me down for a private, expedited submission with the appropriate authorities - very happy about that, and more time to enjoy the lounge. My wife and I have always enjoyed the lounge, spa, general service, and culinary experience at Salon La Première, although on our last visit they were out of Hennessy Paradis, a minor disappointment. Speaking of beverages while the on board experience in La Première is always fabulous, as much as I truly enjoy La Grande Dame at the LP price point I think AF could do a little better. Looking forward to your next trip report.
Thanks so much WXFlyer1957. The LPL is such a wonderful treat and experience. My only complaint is the wine list, both in the Lounge and in flight. Despite raising LP fares significantly in the past year Air France has decided to go cheap and downgrade wine offerings, at least for non-VIPs. Here is the disappointing LPL wine list from our last visit. The white champagnes are embarrassing for the flagship airline of the best wine producing country.
