The lower fare class may have sold out overnight. That could happen on the CLE-XXX leg or the XXX-GRU leg (UA probably sells 5-10,000 ticket per hour) , or the lower fare may have expired on 15 March or you got within the Advance Purchase window (The EF display shows 50 days so probably not AP) or .... There are many reason this could have happened.
