A Purchase will not earn cash back if the merchant’s category code is ineligible. You will earn 3% cash back for every $1 of the first $4,000 spent per calendar year on Purchases classified as insurance and 1% cash back after that. You will earn 2% cash back for every $1 spent on Purchases at merchants classified as gas stations, electric vehicle charging stations, restaurants, fast-food restaurants, bars, grocery stores, food delivery services and drug stores.
