If you have to call AMEX Travel, you just get a warning from the agent that you will not get another $200 credit on a future booking, as you've already received it for this year...

I’m a bit confused because Amex told me several months ago when the card benefits were “improved” that I had to do the booking thru their travel service. Perhaps I misunderstood your post or the agent (Canada) didn’t understand the T & C?

I have several hotel bookings coming up that I’d love to use the credit on but none of these hotels were on the Amex Travel list so I booked them on my own.

Can you clarify, pls?
