My guess is that your DW's Alaska account probably has the CSR card as the default card that's used for food pre-orders unless she/you specify another card at the time of the pre-order. Also, it wouldn't surprise me if the FAs are able to charge the default card for inflight purchases.
It was a liquor purchase, so not a pre-order. And yes, the CSR is in her account (that I manage). I had actually purchased the ticket with her AS Visa to ensure she qualifies for bag and boarding benefits.
