Some speculation or data points if you will:
During my last business application, I moved some credit around to get approval and had to provide IRS letter and SOS letter.
I did the CIP application yesterday,
No instant approval.
Called automated, got seven day message.
Called recon and had to unfreeze Experian instead of Equifax.
Transferred to Account Acquisitions.
Put through third degree of questioning. Asked me how much c/l I wanted. I said $2,000.00 would be good. (I have many Chase cards and some are in excess of $25K) Did not ask me to reallocate any credit lines.
Put on hold, told I would get a letter in one to two weeks.
Waited about thirty minutes and called automated, got 2 week message.
Pressed to speak to a rep, got automated saying that office was closed. (Probably why she didn't give me an approval while on the phone)
Checked account at 7:30 this morning, no new account.
At 8:01 I got an email of account being approved.
Checked account and the new account was there with a $7,500.00 limit. (no reallocation or any documents to mail this time)
Now if it will just come to the PO Box and NOT the physical address, that would be a good thing.
