Hi all, we originally booked EWR --> CDG nonstop and CDG --> EWR return nonstop for mid-March.

About 2 months ago, they canceled the return flight from CDG --> EWR and rebooked us onto a later flight from CDG --> JFK
Anyone from the area knows how much more annoying it is to get to/go to JFK if you're 15 min away from EWR

This turns a ~$20 Uber to ~$150 Uber or 1.5-2 hours of trains and ~$60 for 2 people. Agent on the phone said I can submit a form online to get reimbursed for the travel expense but will they actually reimburse that? Debating if we should take the trains or Uber.
Also, Is any other compensation/upgrade worth attempting to ask for? This really is annoying returning at 915pm 1-2 hours away vs 230pm 15-20 min away with work the next day.
