i got yet another email. Called again. Now they are telling me the real problem is my cc is getting declined. called again. BA kept insisting my cc is getting declined even though it has never been declined and all is ok. after going back and forth for 30 minutes i called chase while i was still on the line with BA. in the teleconference chase was assuring that my account is perfectly fine, that no additional security is needed for the transaction and that there is no evidence of any attempted charge from BA. despite this the BA agent was insisting that BA had made a charge and that it got declined.
Now BA is saying that they will attempt to charge the card within 7 business days without knowing wether the charge will ever go through. So long story short, when BA asks for your credit card information they will forward the info to another department and attempt to make the charge within 7 business days and if there is an issue they will email you again and again for you to call them and argue something that is just untrue. Somehow they cannot send an invoice or any other means of payment
