Just noticed this thread after I posted in a seperate thread:

I bought seperate tickets for JFK-NRT-HGH, first leg on JL and second on ANA with 25 hour transit. Does anyone know if JL allows boarding (US greencard, Chinese passport) without visa so that I can apply transit visa on arrival at NRT? Is PCR test result required? Also does JL handle luggage interline with ANA ? Thanks.
