Even as a Washingtonian looking at pictures of my hometown, I still enjoyed this TR very much. You went to some of our classic spots which I'm glad you enjoyed. Old Ebbitt Grill gets a bad rap for being touristy (locals tend to stick to the bar) but I've always enjoyed their food. I don't work on the Hill so this was a really fascinating glimpse into the political world that I'm happily not part of. I'm so glad you had a good time in my city.

As a former Republican, now a right-leaning Independent, I wish Kevin McCarthy all the best, given he had to sell his soul to become Speaker.
